The Frank Business Diagnostic

Two weeks. A fixed fee. A straight answer about where your business is losing money, losing time, and losing customers you never knew you had. Start with the free check below.

What Do AI and Google Say About Your Business?

Type your website in below. In about twenty seconds you will see whether AI assistants can read you at all, how your Google listing stacks up against the businesses near you, and who is being recommended in your area instead of you. Free, and no signup.

Nothing is stored against your name unless you ask for the full report.

AI crawler access

Whether ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google's AI are allowed to read your site at all. A great many sites block them by accident.

Entity clarity

Whether an assistant can tell what your business is, where it is and how to reach it, from the markup on your page.

$1,500 Flat fee

Credited in full against any implementation work you decide to do afterwards. Fixed scope, fixed price, no hourly billing and no proposal that grows while you read it. If the answer is that your systems are fine, we will tell you that and you will have spent $1,500 to stop worrying about it.

Most businesses between $1M and $20M are running on tools that were added one at a time, by different people, for different reasons. Nobody has ever sat down and looked at the whole thing at once. That is what this is.

What We Examine

Four areas, in two weeks, worked from your real data rather than a questionnaire.

Marketing & Acquisition

  • Where your customers actually come from, not where the ad platforms claim credit
  • Spend by channel against revenue that can be traced to it
  • Calls, forms and walk-ins your reporting cannot currently see
  • What your competitors are doing that you are not

Operations & Time

  • Every place a person retypes data that a system already has
  • Hours per week lost to work software should be doing
  • Bottlenecks, handoffs and the steps that only one person knows
  • What breaks first if volume doubles

Data & Reporting

  • Which numbers disagree with each other, and which one is right
  • What you cannot currently measure but should
  • Reporting that gets built and never read
  • How long it takes you to answer a simple question about last month

Technology & AI Readiness

  • Every subscription you pay for, what it does, and what overlaps
  • Systems that should be talking to each other and are not
  • Where AI would remove real hours, and where it would only add noise
  • The full AI visibility score, including the two checks the free scan leaves out

What You Get

A document you can act on, and real time with the person who wrote it.

The Findings

What is working, what is costing you money, and what is costing your team time. Each one written as a specific thing that is true about your business, with the evidence attached, not as a category on a scorecard.

The Priority List

Ten improvements ranked by what they return against what they cost to do. You will know which one to do first and roughly what it takes, whether we do it or somebody else does.

The Review Sessions

We go through the findings with you more than once. A first session on what we found, then a second after you have had time to sit with it and push back. Findings tend to change shape once an owner reacts to them, and the second pass is where the priority list gets honest. You keep the document either way, and you are free to hand it to anyone you like.

Why We Can Measure This

Most people selling AI visibility are guessing. We built the scoring because we needed it ourselves, and we found the problems on our own business first.

  • Traffic arriving from ChatGPT was being recorded as Twitter, because the pattern used to spot twitter.com matched inside the middle of "chat.com". Months of AI referrals were filed under the wrong channel before anyone noticed.
  • For our own retail business, organic assistant citations convert. The paid placement on the same platform does not. Almost nobody separates those two, so almost nobody knows which one is working.
  • Blocking rules are usually accidental. A single line in robots.txt, added years ago for a different reason, is enough to keep a business out of every AI answer in its market.

If a check cannot run, we report it as not run. It is never filled in with a plausible number, and it never quietly counts as a zero against you. A score you cannot defend is worse than no score.

What the Full Score Adds

Whether assistants actually name you

We put the buying questions your customers ask to search-grounded assistants and record whether your business appears, and who appears instead.

How your profile compares

Review volume, rating and profile completeness against the competitors being named in those answers, since that is what the answers are built from.

What to fix first

Ranked by what it costs to do against what it returns, so the work starts where it pays.

How the Two Weeks Run

About three hours of your time, spread across the two weeks.

Days 1–3 · Access

A 45-minute kickoff call, then read-only access to what you already have: ad accounts, analytics, your storefront or job software, and the reports you currently rely on. We inventory it and start pulling.

Days 4–9 · Analysis

The quiet part. We reconcile the numbers against each other, trace where customers actually come from, map the manual work, and run the full AI visibility scan. You hear from us only if something needs unlocking.

Days 10–14 · Review

Findings written up and improvements ranked, then two working sessions: the first to walk through what we found, the second once you have had time to challenge it. Then the decision is yours, with no pressure and no automatic next step.
